Who we are
Founded in 2015 to give Tunisian agri-food production the export infrastructure it deserved — and the SHARK ITC mark to carry it, registered in 2016.
Most Tunisian producers sell what they harvest. Shark ITC exists to sell what a producer could harvest — the same olives, dates, pasta wheat and catch, taken through grading, packing, documentation and cold-chain logistics until they meet the standard a supermarket buyer in Hamburg or Dubai signs off on.
We are an export company, not a freight forwarder. We take title, quality and compliance risk on the goods we ship — we do not simply move someone else's cargo across a border. Every lot we release carries a traceability file back to its origin, and every shipment moves under the transport and cold-chain standards our buyers audit us against.
The result: Tunisian dates, olive oil, pasta, sardines and tuna, delivered as private label or under SHARK ITC's own mark, to any territory that wants Mediterranean quality without Mediterranean logistics risk.
Export house, not transit agent
A distinction buyers ask about directly — here is the difference in practice.
What we don't do
- Move cargo that isn't ours between two parties
- Stop at documentation and freight booking
- Leave quality and traceability to the shipper
- Compete on freight rate alone
What we do
- Source, grade and take ownership of the goods we export
- Control traceability from oasis, mill or plant to port
- Package to private-label / MDD specification on request
- Manage transport and cold-chain technology end to end
- Answer for compliance under our own trademark
The current manifest
Five product families, sourced across Tunisia, exportable in bulk, retail-ready or private label.
Tunisian Dates
Branch, second-choice and pitted grades, sourced from partner oases with harvest traceability.
Olive Oil
Extra virgin and virgin grades from Tunisian mills, bottled or shipped in bulk to buyer specification.
Pasta
Durum wheat pasta produced to export specification, packed under buyer or SHARK ITC branding.
Sardines
Canned sardines in oil or sauce, from Tunisian canneries audited to export cold-chain standard.
Tuna
Canned and loin tuna, sourced and packed to the same traceability file as the rest of the manifest.
What every shipment carries
Three commitments that don't change by product or destination.
Origin to port, on file
Every lot is logged from source — oasis, mill, plant or vessel — through grading and packing to the container it ships in, so a buyer can trace a pallet back to where it came from.
Built to pass the audit
Documentation, labeling and food-safety standards are prepared against the destination market's requirements before the goods leave Tunisia, not after a buyer flags a gap.
Cold chain, tracked in transit
Transport is planned and monitored with current tracking and cold-chain technology, so temperature-sensitive cargo arrives the way it left.
Global reach
